Wow! I haven't drawn in years and here is my second one in a matter of weeks - you can see a certain trend here, right... Maybe I should pay more attention to my *actual* work...
Anyway, this one almost turned into a *complete* mess - once you start shadowing the drawing either becomes more alive, or, as almost in this case, a blurry smudge. Of course, I couldn't really render it once I scanned it in....
Anyway - Sister of Battle from the Warhammer 40K universe in a nonchalant, possibly bored, pose. I've found a pic of a model in this position an traced the outlines (to get the positions of all the appendages) and filled everything in. So if you have problems with proportions... its supposed to be perspective. So there!
HB pencil on paper. Several days (due to interruptions which goes with pretending to have a life)
